At Bramblewood Farm, our mission is to provide our community with fresh, locally grown produce using regenerative farming practices. Our outreach programmes are an extension to this effort, designed to counter food poverty, reduce isolation, improve mental wellbeing, and strengthen community ties. From volunteer opportunities, farm open days, and forest bathing, to collaborations with schools, youth groups, and support services, we’re building a living, working space where everyone has a role to play. We also want to help those who have abundance to provide for those who have not, by paying it forward.
We host seasonal farm open days and hands-on workshops to give families, schools, and community groups a chance to experience regenerative farming at its most intimate. From planting seeds to meeting the animals, we reconnect people with where their food comes from and why that matters. These events are especially tailored for children & families, but are also great for those who don't usually have the chance to visit the countryside.
Through our Pay It Forward model, anyone can opt to attend for free, funded by contributions from those who can afford to help. No proof or justification required, just select the free or discounted option when booking.
We believe that good food and access to nature should be available to everyone, not just those who can afford it. That’s why we run a Pay It Forward model across many of our offerings.
When a customer buys some food, a ticket to an open day, or a place on a workshop, they can choose to add a little extra to help cover the cost for someone else. Those contributions will directly fund places and food for low-income families, individuals experiencing hardship, and local groups working with vulnerable people. It’s a simple way to share abundance and make our community a more compassionate place to live.
