Welcome to the Bramblewood Farm Egg Club. These terms set out how our subscription works, what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you in return.
1. The Egg Club Subscription
Membership entitles you to one dozen eggs per week (fixed plan).
Eggs are billed in 4-week cycles (£20 per cycle), payable in advance via recurring payment link or standing order.
2. Collection
Collection is from the Bramblewood Farm shop at Rosemains Steadings, Pathhead, EH375UQ, during your chosen window; either Wednesday - Saturday or Sunday - Tuesday. Eggs must be collected within your chosen two day window to free up space for the next round.
Any uncollected eggs will be donated, re-allocated, or used on farm — we cannot offer refunds for missed collections.
Please return used cartons to the shop wherever possible.
3. Holiday Skips & Breaks
You may “skip” a week if you give at least 48 hours’ notice by email to Nick@bramblewoodfarm.co.uk.
Skipped weeks will be credited against your next cycle.
Longer breaks (e.g. holidays, illness) can be arranged with us on a case-by-case basis.
4. Availability & Waitlist
Membership is capped (approx. 30 places) to match flock size and ensure fairness.
If the club is full, you may join the waitlist and will be contacted as soon as a space opens.
5. Quality & Welfare
All eggs are produced by our pasture-raised hens. We meet or greatly exceed UK animal welfare and food hygiene standards and you are welcome to join a farm tour to see how we care for our animals yourselves.
As eggs are a natural product, sizes and shell colours may vary.
6. Payments & Refunds
Payments are non-refundable once a 4-week cycle has begun.
If we are unable to provide eggs for a week (e.g. supply issues, flock health), you will be credited or refunded for that week.
Prices may change occasionally, but members will receive at least 4 weeks’ notice.
7. Food Safety
Eggs are ungraded fresh eggs laid within 48 hours of your collection day. They are collected and stored under hygienic conditions.
Please store your eggs in a cool dry space at home.
Eggs are best consumed within 28 days of lay as displayed on the carton.
As with all fresh produce, please wash hands after handling shells.
8. Liability
We cannot accept liability for losses caused by late collection, missed collections, or failure to follow safe storage advice.
Our liability is limited to the value of your subscription payment.
9. Cancellations.
If you wish to give up your space on the egg club, please send an email to Nick@bramblewoodfarm.co.uk and we'll remove you from our list. We'll be sad to see you go, but we understand, things change.
